Mission

To provide an immersive nature experience that will be a foundational part of the village that raises children to be healthy, kind, mindful and confident.

We aim to inspire children to learn, explore and care for each other and our environment.

Earthology is currently enrolling for Spring and Summer Camps!

We will be using indoor space leased from St. Elias in Brooklyn and accessing the beautiful Brooklyn Memorial Park attached to the property.

Camper and Parent Handbook 2024.pdf

Please be sure to read our Explorer and Parent Handbook.  Although we do offer school-aged childcare during typical school breaks we are a specialized program. The parks and spaces that we explore do not have walls and children need to be able to manage that additional freedom.  We have high expectations for ourselves and explorers.  We need to be sure that children are willing to stay with the group and follow expectations by choice.  There is a large creek running through the property with tons of amazing wildlife and we need to be sure that we can keep your children safe.  Explorers must be able and willing to participate in programming and parents must be willing to send their child with the right gear and fuel to ensure success.   Please read through the handbook to be sure that we are the right fit for you and your explorer!

"My child really enjoyed his week at Earthology summer camp.  He loved all the different activities and being outdoors!  My son was hesitant to try camp but after his first day, he asked me to sign him up for another week, he had such a great time!" - Jen (Parent)

"Our 8 year old son had a fantastic time at the Earthology camp.  He enjoyed learning all about nature, all of the times outdoors in parks, and the kindness of the leaders and fellow campers.  After every day he mentioned how much fun he had, and he was sad to see the week end.  Our son has ADHD and has had some challenging experiences at camps before, so this was something special.  Erin made sure to have some interventions available for him and was very encouraging and accommodating.  We highly recommend this camp!" -John (Parent)

"I like the way you teach us things.  I learn a lot and it's fun!"

 -Jack (Camper)

"The kids want to come back next week because they are having so much fun!  Are there openings?!" Dan (Parent)

"This is a fun and easy way to educate your children!  The people here are very cheerful and fun to be around!" -Orri 10 y/o (CAMPER!)

"You are going to be famous.  This is the best camp ever!" -Hazel (Camper)

Earthology Unbound has curriculum and activities planned to educate children on the world around us and Mother Nature. We have selected content that highlights kindness, community and mindfulness.  We will be playing games, hiking, exploring, planting,  and practicing mindfulness activities.

We will be working together to learn about environmental stewardship and ways to make our world a better place through fun and engaging activities!
